A DVD hdd recorder can be purchased from Amazon for approximately $200.00. This does not include shipping but this is the average price on their website.
It sounds like your (HDD) hard disk drive is faulty. Your hard disk drive is responsible for storing your operating system, along with all your files and programs. When it's under too much stress (fault problem) then it begins to freeze up and your system takes a while to load programs and files. As I am aware, the HDD is the only culprit inside a computer to make a buzzing noise due to how it operates (sort of like a record player, a disk inside with an arm).
Plug in the MP3 into the PS3 and if the PS recognizes it just copy the files for the HDD to the MP3 player
A DVD HDD recorder is better than a VCR, or a simple digital DVD recorder. Nothing can match a DVD HDD recorder's ability to pause and rewind live TV. If that's something you want, a DVD HDD recorder is the only way to get it with currently available technology.
The drives contained in a HDD DVD recorder are standard hard drives, though you will have to remove it from the recorder and reformat it. This will likely make it unusable in the DVDR HDD.
Depends on what kind of recorder you are looking for. I'd advise you to take a look on dvdrecordersreviews.com

Some of the top brands of HDD DVD Recorders are LG, Panasonic, Magnavox, and Toshiba. They are all rated quite high and I'm sure you would be happy with any of those brands.
You can buy a DVD hdd recorder at any retail store that sells electronics, such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or Radioshack. These stores have reasonable prices for good quality items.
make sure disk is blank functions - copy - choose what is to be copied( is quick if sp was used for the programme(s) on hard drive) / source HDD/ destination DVD
There are several places for one to purchase a Panasonic HDD recorder. Online they can be found at Amazon and eBay. In a local store they can be found at Sam's Club and Target.
There are many reasons why a person might use an HDD recorder. Most people would use an HDD recorder to record shows or movies on stations that they won't be able to be home to watch. A person might be to busy to watch at the time a show is on, so they would record it and watch it another time.
I find a lot of good deals on Amazon, sometimes you can get gently used items for even cheaper then a new one. BestBuy is also a very good place to get electronics.
Usb, cd/dvd, network/download/, by Removing HDD (put HDD in secondary Slot in Another PC with its own HDD and Formet it).
Hi As far as I am aware, DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) records video information in a variety of codecs. It is most imortant that any DVD recording be encoded to playback on ANY DVD player. There seems to be a great deal of confusion here. My feeling is that all recordings should be at leats M-PEG 2. DVR (Digital Video Recording) is a relatively new beast. Once again, as I understand it, a DVR records directly to a HDD (Hard Disc Drive). I have a Panasonic DMR E500H machine which I consider fantastic - even though it may be dated. It is both a DVD recorder and a DVR in one machine. I have recorded more than 100 full length features on my HDD. As technology improves, so will DVD/DVR's Hope this helps
