The best ones are the ones that sound good to you. With some research I found that Daniel Svensson drummer for Inflames uses Evans G1 coated snare head with Tama Starclassic Maple/Bubinga, Piano White drums. In Flames has a great drum sound that I think would be rightfor many kinds of metal.
