With stock(24") tires it will run about 54 mph on speedometer. At least that is what mine used to run. Also varies on motor condition, mainly how much compression you have. Also the type of ground you are on. Road = faster. Hard dirt= not as fast. Real loose dirt= not that fast 2002 Honda rancher 350 es goes 65 at top speed on pavement.
the switch is inside the back cover, but you should check the shift drum. the end of the shift drum has a slot in which the neutral switch sets in, and on my rancher the end of the shift drum was broke so when the quad is in neutral the switch said it was in gear you pretty much have to completely disassemble the whole engine and tranny to change the shift drum. good luck
Add 2 quarts of Honda 4stroke motor oil then check the level @ dipstick and adjust accordingly. Good luck & don't forget to change the oil filter.
To fill the rear gear case on a 2000 Honda Rancher, you typically need about 0.8 to 1.0 quart of gear oil. It's essential to use the recommended type of gear oil, usually a hypoid gear oil with a viscosity of 80W-90. Always check the owner's manual for specific requirements and ensure the fluid level is correct by using the fill plug.
