Depends - most nowadays are complete crap and are made overseas. Used $100-150. However, for a few years they were made in Japan in the early 80's. Really great quality as far as the neck, body and hardware (except the pickups). I know, i have one that people have raved at the tone i get. These go used anywhere between $300-500 depending on condition. They will have "made in japan" underneath the logo on the headstock.
Early 80s Squier basses regularly sell online for $250 - $350 with a case and in great cosmetic and fully playable condition. Nearer mint units, or those with an especially desirable color could sell for $500 - $600 or more. Vintage Squier basses sold at retail in a music store will also typically command a higher price.
Squires aren't a very valuable instrument I'm afraid. It would only be worth about $300 - $400 Australian Dollars. But it all depends on the pick-ups and the quality!
$1400 and Up.
A fat strat refers to a strat that has a humbucker pickup, which pretty much looks like two single coils smushed together on a guitar
For an American made fender standard stratocaster, you're looking at about $1,500.
The first Fender Stratocaster was designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares.
Anywhere from $30 to $80 on ebay. The market is flooded with these guitars though since many people get it as a beginner guitar and end up quitting the instrument.
The worth of a 1984 Fender Strat guitar can vary because of many factors. The condition in which the guitar is in is the most important. Any wear can diminish the worth. See an appraiser for an estimate.
A Squier Stratocaster is a type of electric guitar. Originally, Stratocasters were made by Fender, and rapidly became favorites of many guitar players the world over. They eventually moved production of the Stratocaster to the Squier company, which now produces the Squier Strat for Fender. Squier Strats are not worth as much as original Fender Strats, but they play almost the same.
The price that they are worth is about $1000-$2200
Yes. Much better. In my opinion, Gibson is the best guitar brand. Squier, is a part of fender and generally speaking, Squier guitars are not as good as fender.

Just buy the Fender instead of the Squier. From the description, you're probably looking at a Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe, with two "wide range" humbuckers and four control knobs. You can modify a Squier, but the cost of the modifications and the parts will probably exceed the cost of the guitar. And there is never any guarantee that the resulting sound will be good until you've already paid for and completed the modification. Also, a Squier depreciates in value pretty much the second you take it out of the store. A Fender, even a Mexican one, will hold its value better. When in doubt, just buy the guitar that already has the sound and feel you want.
Fender says "there is always some carryover from one year to the next". Therefore your guitar is either an 02 or an early 03. Shouldn't matter much in resale price.
not much, they arent the classic fender people like
