I bought a Baldwin piano some years ago. I had it tuned and some strings replaced. I found out the piano was not a Baldwin but a Hamilton (number 368134). No where on the piano did it state (Hamilton). WHY? What was the difference?
The value of a used Hamilton Baldwin baby grand piano model H391 typically ranges from $5,000 to $10,000, depending on its condition, age, and any recent refurbishments. Factors such as the piano's finish, the quality of the soundboard, and the overall playability can also influence its price. For a more accurate valuation, it's advisable to consult a professional appraiser or a local piano dealer.
1980
Amy Lee, the singer and keyboardist/pianist of Evanescence, uses a Baldwin keyboard in a baby grand piano shell. She also has a Baldwin stand alone keyboard.
The 1949 Baldwin Model R grand piano is a fine, fine instrument, when in good condition. It's difficult to assess the value of such a piano, because price is so dependent on condition. From what I've seen them sell for, though, I would say that the value of a 1949 Baldwin Model R grand piano is between $11,000 and $26,000.

The beginning cost for this piano would be $4,500 dollars. This would depend on condition and whether it is new or used.

baldwin baby grand grand prix paris 1900 and grand prize st louis 1904 what is the value
it is a piano. Yes, someone indicated it is a piano. My question is Why does the Baldwin official website not acknowlege the existence of the M2 model? They only list the M1. Either way, the M model is the smallest grand, at 5'2".
Dwight Hamilton Baldwin was an itinerant music teacher in the singing school tradition, although he also taught violin and reed organ. In 1866 Lucien Wulsin was hired as a clerk, becoming a partner in 1873 with the formation of D.H.Baldwin Company. Baldwin built pianos under the names Hamilton, Howard, Sargent, Winton, Chickering, Wurlitzer and even the Bechstein Piano. The 1921 Winton (Baldwin) Upright Piano, was a famous family piano.
Baldwin Piano Company was created in 1857.
It was made in 1979 according to the pierce piano atlas. Baldwin could confirm this. They are now owned by the Gibson guitar company.
about 22,000 if you're looking in the right spot.
