It's for riding the Trolley without a ticket =/
I was pulled over going 90 in a 65 in SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA on the 94 east. In May 2009. It took over 2 months for my ticket to be in the system and I still haven't gotten my ticket amount in the mail. Yet when i logged on to pay the ticket ONLINE, the ticket came to be 332.00 I was offered to goto traffic school so the new bail and fee amount came to 382.00. So check your ticket online at http://www.sdcourt.ca.gov/portal/page?_pageid=55,1272147&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL DONT WAIT FOR IT TO COME IN THE MAIL CAUSE MINE STILL HASN'T COME IN THE MAIL AND MY COURT DATE ON MY TICKET IS IN 1 DAY! SO CHECK IT ONLINE!
Depending on the charge, yes, they can. The above answer is correct provided that the landowner has entered into an agreement giving the police authority. This is typical for most malls and parking lots whether the stores are open or not. Usually you can take Florida Online Traffic School which reduces the fine and also keeps the Florida traffic ticket off your record. There is a link to Florida traffic school at the link below.
You can contest a parking ticket by going to civil court on the date that it is due and the date written on the ticket. You can explain your reasons for contesting it to the judge and they will make a decision on the spot.

YOU may never have been there -BUT- has your VEHICLE ever been there? Did you lend it to someone? If so, YOU (as the registered owner) are responsible for the ticket.

Just received one this morning, 12/3/12. The fine is $30. There is also a mandated state surcharge of 12.50, so your total ticket cost is 42.50.
An average cost for two tickets to attend a San Diego Chargers football game is about eighty-one dollars per ticket. This price does not include fees for use of the parking facilities at the venue.
