Mike has been up to lots actually! Check out his website, it's incredible. You can become a member of his VideoRanch and see live shows and movies with other fans of Nez. I believe he recently released an instrumental album, not sure what it's called. I know that parts of his catalog have been remastered. The first three National band albums were remastered and collected in a box set. I believe he is doing a live set at the Video Ranch over the Holiday weekend. I've recently discovered his post Monkees work, can't believe just how overlooked he is! His music is really quite good! His country-rock albums are groundbreaking.. It's unfortunate that he isn't better recognized as an innovator of the country rock/alt country genre.

The inventor of Liquid Paper, which inspired white out, was Michael Nesmith's (member of the band The Monkees) mother, Bette Nesmith Graham. As an artist, she used the product to correct her mistakes while typing. Eventually, she turned it into a successful business, providing financial support to her son's musical career.
