How old were the Jonas brothers when they became fameous?

The band started as a solo project of Nick Jonas. When Nick was six yrs old he was discovered while singing at a barbershop and was refered to a profesional business manager at age seven nick started performing in Broadway.

In early 2005 Columbia Records' new president Steve Greenbrug listened to Nick's record. Although he did not like the album he did like Nick's voice. after meeting with Nick and hearing the song "Please Be Mine" written and performed by the brothers, Daylight/Columbia Records decided to sign the three as a group act.

After being signed to Columbia the brothers considered naming their group "Sons of Jonas" before settling on the name "Jonas Brothers"

So at first it was just a solo act of nick and then in 2005 the brothers were discovered.

Nick was about 7 or 8 years old. He was on Broadway. Then he started signing with 2 of his brothers at 13. Joe was 17 and Kevin was 18.
