Some words that may be helpful in a piece such as that would be: * Note * Tone * Sound * Quality * Clear
sound waves are all around us. the electric guitar will make/reflect sound waves just as it sits in the corner. sound waves is what sound is only that sound waves is the more scientific way of saying it.
HMMMMM. lets see. if you bash a guitar would it sound better then an unBASHED guitar. i dont know *SARCASM*SARCASM* no it would probably sound like crap
Acoustic-electric guitars are acoustic styled guitars with a pickup either outside or inside the hollow body. You plug a cable into it like you would a normal electric guitar and it can be used through an amplifier to make the sound louder. They can also be played without being plugged in just like a normal acoustic guitar
Probably the pickups. Earlier guitars have single coil pickups which give a little more feedback in overdrive, but newer guitars have humbuckers that improve on less feedback and better tone and clarity. That's if the guitars are electric. If they were acoustic, the changes would probably be lesser. Maybe just changes in structure that would have a better sound overall than earlier versions.

Pretty much, yes. Solid body guitars dont have resonance chambers like the hollow bodies do. They dont make much sound unless you plug them into something, so it would be pretty pointless to make a solid body guitar that wasnt electric.
I would have to say www.firstact.com It has some expensive guitars on there, but then again, a lot of them are really cheap.

Certainly possible if it is an electric guitar connected through the headset you would be wearing inside your space suit. Electric guitars use electromagnetic pickups that respond to the vibrations of the strings, not to sound waves which would of course not exist in space.
Depends on who is playing the guitars not the guitars themselves. But if it were equally skilled guitarists, electric would win by a long shot because of its thousands of capabilities. Hope it helps,- Roxas Riku

I don't think many if any places sell those kinds of things. Your best bet would be Ebay or put up an ad: Wanted: old broken electric guitars.
