Yes, you can play bass on a keyboard; but not necessarily any keyboard. If your keyboard supports voices, then it should have a bass(mine has fingered bass, slap bass, and acoustic bass) setting. You can then either play just the bass line on the lower end of the keyboard or if your keyboard offers split voicing you can play an accompaniment in the treble register.

A good example would be The Doors. All of their "bass lines" were actually writen, recorded, and performed by keyboardist Ray Manzarek.

Can you connect a bass guitar and a keyboard to a bass amp?

The short answer is Yes. However, a BASS amp i s intended to amplify low frequencies and all of the tone controls are designed to enhance these frequencies. The speakers are usually designed for the lower frequencies as well, so you will find that the keyboard will not sound as detailed as it might if used with an amplifier designed for guitar or keyboards, as the upper frequencies of the keyboard through a bass amp will be attenuated.

If you play electric bass can you play bass?

It depends what you mean... i know what you mean by electric bass but what do you mean by "Bass" If you mean an upright bass/double bass like thishttp://shannonspositiveimages.com/images/UprightBass.jpgthen with a few minor adjustments with the way you play you can.. To play an upright bass you need to use your hands all the time instead of a pick.. so finger picking is a NEED. Watch some youtube videos..

What instrument can you play with the bass clef?

You can play any instrument with the bass clef. This is just a convention to write notes of certain height in the bass clef. You can play a piece on an instrument if their diapasons match. Or even it is not so, you can transpose a piece to the diapason for your instrument. Usually, pieces written for bass instruments (for example, electric bass guitar or double bass) are noted on the bass clef.

Why do bass clarinets play in orchestras?

Bass clarinets play in orchestras because orchestras sometimes play pieces that are scored for bass clarinet, or have bass clarinet parts in it. One example of a piece like that is The Rite Of Spring, by Igor Stravinsky. It has significant solos and duets by the bass clarinet, and "the show cannot go on" without the bass clarinet. But most pieces, do not have bass clarinet parts, so the bass clarinet is rarely seen in orchestras today.
