Their musical style is very unique (Afro-Pop/Indie Rock) and their lyrics are interesting and intelligent. Their music is complicated in a very simple way, and for the sub-culture of thinking teenagers, that's awesome.
I also saw them in concert in Kansas City, and they are suprisingly great performers, one of the greatest shows I've ever attended. I hope they win the Grammy for Cousins!! And can't wait for the next album! : D

The weekend of the week you are currently in is this weekend, Next weekend would refer to the week after that. Then of course it depends on who you are talking to, If you came up to me on monday and said lets do something next weekend, I would assume you mean the very next weekend. If you said the same thing on friday I would then assume you mean the weekend after this coming weekend. Confused? That is why I end up saying things like two weekends from now, or the weekend after this. Unless you know how the other person thinks you can not be sure so clarify.

Vampires, other than vampire bats, are mythological creatures. Most people would agree that, as such, they do not exist.
There's alot of bands that have done covers of other people's music, but some bands that are most famous for it would be Pearl Jam with 'Last Kiss' or Shinedown with 'Simple Man' but there are many others too.
I think that would be determined by the context in which that phrase was used. If you were writing something like, "We had a picnic during the Memorial Day weekend," then it would be a lowercase "w." But if it was a title like, "Memorial Day Weekend Sale," then it would be capitalized.
At Holloween you can by all the 'props' needed to make yourself look like a vampire. But other than office parties and costume parties I can't imagine why you would want to pretend you are a vampire.
