Displaying only the rear license plate is a correctable violation and therefore only costs $10 to process the paperwork once it's corrected. This fee may differ per county. If you're a member of AAA, they will issue you two new license plates if you've misplaced one for around $25, I think. If you choose to not correct the violation, the fine is $135. Again this could and I'm sure does vary by county. Hope that helps.

Acquiring a California Business License?

Of course, a California business license is usually required to operate in the state. A company applying for their license must ensure that everything is in order. The application should be flawless as should the company itself. Nobody wants to have their application denied for obvious reasons. For the most part, acquiring a California business license is not that difficult. A business owner cannot be lax during the process though because that can cause some problems.

Can you be arrested for driving without your license in your possession even though you do have a valid driver's license which is at home in NM and you are now in Colorado?

It cannot be definitely ruled out. Although the officer could have their dispatcher check with NM's DMV files to see if you DO have a valid license, you are REQUIRED to have your license in your possession at all time when driving. Without a license in actually your possession they could prevent you from continuing on your trip.

If you are a licensed real estate agent in one state and you move, do you have to take the test in your new state also Like moving from Arizona to California.?

You must contact the licensing board in Arizona. They may have reciprocity with the state of California, so if your license is current it would be transferable. Whether the test is required depends on several factors. There are a number of considerations, though, so check first with the board in the state where you plan to relocate.
