Bascily, Lady "Gaga" was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (1986 which makes her 23) on the 28th of March in Yonkers New York. She grew up going to a strict (private) catholic school. She learned piano at the age of 4, started pro forming at 13 and gained admission to a arts school at 17. She later decided to withdraw from school. At 19 she was signed up to "Def Jam Records" after a record executive heard her singing. But after 3 months she was dropped from the label. Months past and Gaga started taking drugs and pro forming small gigs. Luck changed when she collaborated with "Lady starlight" and thought up the name "Lady Gaga". All the attention got her noticed and she began writing songs for big names such as Akon and The Pussycat Dolls. She was quickly picked up by "Interscope records" and began creating "the fame".
