Above the staff ... at the beginning of the measure.
You get out the sheet music, place it on the piano, and play the written notes. Another way is to memorize the music by listening intently to it over and over again.
Sorry, no such place exists. See the related question below for some websites.
In classical western music, the same notes are used on all instruments. These can also be played on a guitar, and the same names are used. Their letter designations are also the same. Guitar players and piano players understand many of the terms such as "octave", "fifth", "major chord", "arpeggio" etc. in the same way. (Note that there are actually 12 notes if you include the black keys. These are also available on the guitar.) Guitar sheet music is typically written with the notes transposed up one octave. For example, the "middle C" on guitar sheet music is actually the same note as the next lower C on piano music. Most electronic keyboards with a "guitar" voice will make this transposition for you. Guitar sheet music usually does not use the bass staff found on most piano music. On a guitar, it is possible to make "microtonal" notes that cannot be played on a normal piano. These are achieved by "bending" the strings, stretching them sideways with the left hand. The technique is used to create expressive effects in blues and rock music.

[It., quindicesima]Abbreviation for quindicesima or "at the fifteenth." This indication is found above specific notes on a staff and indicates that those notes should be performed two octave higher than written. This indication can be used with a dotted line that covers a series of notes to be performed at the fifteenth. The dotted line should end with a downstroke to indicate the end of the passage to be altered. The end of the passage can also be indicated by the term loco ("at place") or perform at the written pitch.more at:http://www.music.vt.edu/musicdictionary/text1-9/15ma.html

In piano music, notes are connected by slurs. These slurs indicate that the notes should be played smothly, with no breaks. A phrase is the point from the start of that segment to the end of it. A phrase can also be a place where the music gets louder and then softer.

Historically, the "star" notes are released into the money supply to take the place of notes that are found to be defective after printing (and destroyed). These place-holder notes maintain the count of notes in a given serial number range. Star notes are considerably more scarce for any given series date than are ordinary notes. But not all will command a premium value above the face value of the bill.
