I dont think that they are "Christian" But some of their songs do have some Christian values. I would encourage you to listen to some of their songs and decide for yourselves whether or not you think they are Christians.
***Actually they are Christian and say so themselves... from Reuters: "For 3 Doors Down, singing about their faith isn't an issue. 3 Doors Down lead vocalist Brad Arnold tells Reuters, "It's something that we'd never really done before, and it seemed like it would be a lot of fun. they are not exactly a christian band but they are christians and it comes through in some of their songs,like Citizen/Soldier Train and Away From The Sun, Granted they do cuss a little in songs When I'm Gone, These Days and Time of my life, that does NOT mean they are not christian it just means they cuss a little bit.

∙ 8y agoIf by "Christian" you mean the biblical definition of a Christian in contradistinction to the CULTURAL definition, then NO! they are not.
Being a Christian, whether we like it or not, is evidenced by a LIFESTYLE that is consistent with biblical principles and commands. The Bible isn't to conform to us; we are to conform to, because it is considered the WORD of God.
Understanding the biblical principle: "you will know them by their fruit", ie HOW they conform to the teachings and lifestyle of Christ, then NO, 3 Doors Down fails the test.
