The best Grunge band of all time is plain and simple its Alice in Chains!! Nirvana was great but compare him to layne and hes not as great as a singer, Kurt was raspy as layne was smooth and had a gift of succeeding at hitting the dreadful 5th note with clean vocal sounds! both great bands but AIC has got my vote :)
