NO, August Burns Red, despite their style of music, is not a Satanic group. They are self-proclaimed followers of God. (And the word religious, by the way, can mean any religion including Satanism so specifying that we'll move on.) Brent Rambler (guitarist for ABR) commented on the fact that "It is important to us that people know that we are indeed Christians...without having us stand up there and ram it down people's throats." And if you read their lyrics they are often social/political songs from a Christian perspective.

No they are not. My friend's sister is married to the singer and my friend is from a catholic family so I highly doubt it is a satanic band.

If there lyrics are supposed to be a message to the non Christian community or in any way words of praise to our lord and saviour Jesus Christ then I am confused.
some one tried previously to answer this question and suggested that A.B.R say themselves that Christianity is a religion not a music type. They are correct in saying that christianity is not a music type but they are wrong to say that christianity is a religion. Christianity is all about following Jesus Christ and his teachings and turnimg away for your old imperfect life and letting God form you into a better person.
If August Burns red are in fact all Christian men, then why is it that their music attracts the kind of people who clearly have not encountered Christ in their life and only listen to the the music and not the lyrics.
As Christians (followers of Christ) it is their duty to put others first and reach them with their music for good and not just to make a bit of cash!
