I started with my left hand until my fingers were going autopilot and then learned my right hand.

Definitely look into anything by Yann Tiersen. He is a French composer and wrote all the music for the movie Amelie. His music is beautiful and is also fairly easy to play. Comptine d'Un Autre Ete is fairly simple, but very pretty. My personal favorite of his is La Valse d'Amelie.

The clarinet is a beautiful instrument that makes a beautiful sound. It isn't always easy to play. Even though sometimes it is hard to play, if you keep at it you will get a feel for the instrument. Once you are used to the intrument, it will be easier to blow. It will become easier to blow the more you play.
