Is Gerard Way a good romodel?

To me, Gerard Way is a good role model. Everyone who goes against me says he was an alcoholic. Yes, he was, was being the operative word. He showed me that even when you hit rock bottom, you can get it together and fly sky high. He's made me happy to be myself, and he is a truly inspirational man.

It's an opinion, everyone's role models are different, but Gerard is an inspiration to me and a lot of others across the globe.
