No, that's not true at all. Infact, Gerard, Mikey and Frank were all raised as Catholic-Christians. Need proof? In some of the band's earlier days Gerard frequently had "Catholic" written on his neck or arm. True. Google it. :)

I've heard nearly every single one of their songs... and cussing does not change your religion man listen to "Welcome to the Black Parade." carefully though! you can miss some of their stuff. also Desert song. directly at the beginning he says. "we hold in our hearts the sword and the faith. Swelled up by the rain clouds move like a wraith." that means, we hold in our hearts the word of God! of which rain clouds symbolizing sin, cause it is overwhelming us. moves like a wraith. meaning coming in almost unnoticed...

Well to tell the truth Gerard Way (vocals) and Frank Iero (rhythm guitar) are bisexual but yes Gerard is catholic. So going as far as saying there a christan band is for you to deside there an emo, punk,rock band with most of there songs being about death

Gerard and Frank are NOT bisexual. They do things like kissing purely for entertainment of the audience (plus they were probably drunk). Both Gerard and Frank are married and have kids. And they aren't "emo." That's an unfair stereotype. No, the band doesn't play Christian songs, but some of the members are Christian.

Yes, they certainly have incorporated the Gothic aesthetic into their music and their art. They do have a Gothic feel to them, although they do not necessarily consider themselves "Goth."

They have denied being a goth band, claiming that the label was only really attached to them because of the song: 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You'. Their image, however, could be seen in some peoples eyes as gothic. But their newewst album scraps all of that.

No. They may have dressed a little dark in their past albums, but I would never call them goth. Like the other person said, Danger Days is not goth at all. Personally, I don't think it matters if they're goth. If you like their music, you like their music. If you don't, you don't.
