Connect the bass to the pre-amp, connect the pre-amp to the computer's input. Make sure the software registers the inputted device. Play. Record. um yeah, to have a good recording, you need a driver, like an MBOX or audiophile, guitar center has em. or if youre cheapo, buy guitarport, its only $99
