Yes it is possible but not a good idea. If you were to put an ac in an enclosed room, it would not be able to draw in enough fresh air to justify the cost to cool the air. If you had some sort of way to duct the cold air to the inside and keep the aC outside would be better. Large AC units are often times installed in attics atop fau's 9heater blower units).

Is it possible to vent a Window air conditioner into the attic?

The discharge air can go into a attic... The real question should be where is the condensate going to go? Basically the setup is like this. I want to place a window air conditioner through or in a wall that on the other side of the wall is a attic that is over my garage that has no heating or a/c it does have both soffit and a gable vent. The condensation will be collected in a galvanized drip pan and PVC piped over to and out through the soffit. How does that sound to you? This should work. I think your high pressure will run a bit higher which in turn may be a bit more expensive to run. This should be a fairly inexpensive solution for you. Good luck!

Will a satellite dish receive a signal if its installed in the attic?

No, it will definitely not. It has to be outside, and facing the sky. If it is covered up in the attick, it cannot get signal.

Why is the drip pan for the AC unit in the attic full of water?

The drip pan for the AC unit in the attic is full of water because it is designed to collect condensation that forms as the air conditioner cools the air. If the pan is full, it may be due to a clog in the drain line or a malfunction in the unit.

How can I safely access the attic through the ladder attic hatch in my home?

To safely access the attic through the ladder attic hatch in your home, follow these steps: Make sure the ladder is securely in place and fully extended. Open the attic hatch carefully and ensure it is stable. Climb the ladder slowly and steadily, facing the ladder at all times. Use both hands to hold onto the ladder and avoid carrying heavy items while climbing. Once in the attic, be cautious of your footing and watch your head to avoid hitting it on the ceiling. When descending, reverse these steps and ensure the ladder is stable before climbing down.

How do you wire 2 new lights with on-off switches using wires coming from an existing outlet?

You can attach/splice into the power feed to outlet (ways of doing this can vary with how the outlet is wired but make sure that all or part of the outlet isn't controlled by an existing switch). You can then take the hot, neutral and ground to a light fixture or to the first switch, then to the second switch. It is normally easier to do this project by taking power to the light (s) first, with 2 wire drops to the switches, from basement or attic.
