Q: I was pulled over in calif. for allegedly not making a complete stop at a stop sign, but I believe I did. The officer waited for me to pass the stop sign, drive about a block, sit through a red light, drive down the road, and pull into the parking lot of my apt complex before he put the lights on. I am contesting the ticket. Can I use the fact that he took so long to pull me over and therefore believe he profiled my car because of the fact there was a black man in the passenger seat of my car to pull me over? There was ample time and room to pull me over before he did. There is was not a video on the police car, so it's my word against his. How can I create reasonable doubt? Any suggestions welcome. I go to court this afternoon.

It depends on the Police Department.
