It was mentioned in the George Harrison documentary 'Living in the material world' that both Paul Mc Cartney and George Harrison both had a catholic upbringing. George explored the Hindu faith and found some spirituality in it however if you listen to the words of his songs he believes that belief in GOD is what is important and not the way you worship HIM. He makes references to Jesus in many of his songs which shows that he still observes Catholic traditions and does not discount Jesus as the SON of GOD.

Regardin Paul , I recently viewed a You Tube video in which he sings a religious song which he wrote in adoration of GOD.
