There are countless backronymns applied to Swift by other drivers... "S***, will insurance fix that?", "Sure wish I finished training", etc. Those are a reflection of the reputation that company has. Poorly trained drivers, a tendency to drive freight rates down by undercutting everyone else, a joke of a training program, a driving school that has been caught in underhanded practices in the past... it's companies like Swift which are more rapidly bringing about the demise of the trucking industry.

∙ 13y agoFrom whose perspective? From a business perspective, they've been a successful business, and have branched out greatly. From a driver's perspective... I've known drivers who are happy with them, but I've known a lot more - myself included - who were not.
