The 1872 silver dollar should have a ribbon above the Eagle's head that says In God We Trust. If the coin is severely worn, the ribbon could be missing. It is best to have the coin examined by a collector or coin dealer, it is likely counterfeit though.

Up Above Records was created in 1995.
all of the above (apex)
Cabbages grow above ground
It is located below the "ONE" above the eagles tail feathers if this is a "Peace " dollar.
If it has one it's just above the eagles tail on the reverse.
If you mean a mintmark? and it has one, it's on the reverse just above the tip of the eagles tail
On a 1926 Peace dollar the mintmark is above the eagles tail not below it. Look at it again and post new question.
If it has one it's on the reverse just above the tip of the eagles tail, also it's very small.
The mintmark on all Peace dollars is on the reverse under the word one and just above the tip of the eagles tail.
above the DO in dollar on the back :]
If it has one it's just above the eagles tail on the reverse. No mint mark = Philadelphia D = Denver S = San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO
On the reverse above the D in Dollar.
If it has one, it's on the reverse of the coin just above the tip of the eagles tail very close to the rim, it's very small and can only be an "S".
Sorry this isn't a American silver eagle. This is a Morgan silver dollar. The mintmark is located above the DO in DOLLAR on the back of the coin.
