Essentially there is no difference between a philharmonic orchestra and a symphony orchestra. Both are made up of the same types of instruments and are capable of playing the same music. A philharmonic orchestra is normally composed of a choir or choral society that it accompanies whereas a symphony orchestra is not. There is or there use to be a difference. The Philharmonic Orchestra was also called " The Musical Republic" the musician elected their Conductor, the economics, the character of their orchestra, share revenues. The Symphonic Orchestra was mainly musicians employed by a State, University, etc. Today I do not know if this difference still prevails.
Phonic spelling of orchestra. A symphony orchestra is a large instrumental group consisting of string, brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. A chamber orchestra is half the size but contains the same 4 types of instruments.
The piccolo plays higher than the flute. All orchestra's have piccolo's and the piccolo can only go so high (same as the flute) so it is not a matter of which orchestra plays the highest because all of them can play at the same pitch range (this also applies for the flute)
George Eastman was born on July 12 1854 and passed away on March 14 1932. He was an American inventor and philanthropist. He founded the Eastman Kodak Company and invented roll film, helping to bring photography to the mainstream. In his final two years, Eastman was in intense pain, caused by a degenerative disorder affecting his spine. He had trouble standing and his walking became a slow shuffle. Today it might be diagnosed as lumbar spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal canal caused by calcification in the vertebrae. Eastman grew depressed, for watching his mother go through the same disease. On March 14, 1932, Eastman committed suicide with a single gunshot to the heart, leaving a rather chilling suicide note which read, "To my friends: My work is done. Why wait?" His funeral was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Rochester; he was buried on the grounds of the company he founded at Kodak Park in Rochester, New York.

No, Julian R. Eastman and Sam Westing are not the same person. Julian R. Eastman is a character in the novel "The Westing Game" by Ellen Raskin and Sam Westing is another character in the same novel. They are two distinct characters with separate roles and identities in the story.
A chamber orchestra has the same instruments as a full orchestra, just reduced in numbers. There would be two to four cellos in most chamber orchestras.

Ice melts at a standard rate proportional to itself, so if all ice pops are the same size they will melt at the same rate. However if some brands have wider ice pops than others, they will melt slower.

They are interchangeable and have pretty much the same meaning. However, if one wants to get technical, a "symphony" is a composed piece that is played by the "orchestra".
