i wanted to know if this is actualy a good keyboard like the V-synth or the fantoms. i know people are diassapointed about how they expected more from a jupiter model but in general i want to know what everyone thinks.

Why do people hate the Jupiter 80 by Roland?
people expected more from the jupiter series, i for one love the JP-80 and will be buying one next week, (thats how i came here to answer your question) the jupiter 80 is a great keyboard as is the V-synth and Fantoms series yet the JP-80 lacks certain things that are expected of it. the jupiter 8 back in its day ruled over music but their are many reasons why it is a bad keyboard yet they dont realize that it is just the name that has been caried onto the JP-80. if it were named differently people would see it very differently. i for one wish they built onto the jp-8, exept the jp 80 is mainly just the same looks as the jp8 and has the same kind of feel. i have nothing against the jp 80. its still a brilliant synthesizer.
