I have a friend who plays on one. It has a Rosewood body, profiled lip plate, plated mechanism, B-Foot with Gizmo. It has a nice, even scale, and an earthy, wholesome tone with ample projection. The mech seems pretty sturdy and they keys keep their strength and shape pretty well. I would say this instrument is better suited for chamber playing. The wooden instruments produce a nice array of colors and a great instrument for someone who wants to be introduced to a wooden instrument line. I haven't heard or tried their silver or plated instruments.
I was wary of the instrument when I found out he purchased it on Ebay, but after trying it in a performance setting, it has a pleasing enough sound with a round sound. Again, earthy tone, and the registers are equal in projection, flexibility, and good intonation (which I find problematic on wooden instruments and from research I've done with opinions of various flautists/flutists). The instrument should be trialed no matter what and should suit your personal tastes.
