The Grim Reaper represents Death. Death is the natural consequence of mankind sinning against God almighty, so in a sense it could be considered evil. The Bible says in Revelation that the last enemy that would be thrown into the lake of fire would be death.
The Grim Reaper is also called the Angel of Death, and in that sense, he could also be considered evil. But the Bible never confirms that this angel is a devil, therefore evil.
My best reply to this is that the grim reaper is the personification of something that we fear and dread, and that because of that, we make it out to be evil. But if you are washed in Christ's blood and redeemed, youi don't have to fear death. The Lord promises you eternal life with him.
