Yes it is. The Sonare Flute has a Powell Headjoint. The most importat part of the flute is the headjoint and Sonare is a division of Powell flutes, one of the top brands in flute. (well i consider it to be one of the top three brands)
I have the Sonare 7000 (recent model 700) sterling silver flute. I tried my friends Powell signature flute and it is quite similar (ie. the same headjoint, feeling, sound, tone)
I have tried the 700 model but I still prefer the 7000 over 700 cause i have small fingers and the keys are alot easier to cover. The Powell Signature Flute is way easier to play on than the sonare but it is very similar.
for a price like that on a flute, it is quite a deal! had it for six years and i love it.
The Gemeinhardt Model 2NP is a student model of flute. It is a good flute to learn on, but does not have a rich, concert-quality sound.
Sterling is generally considered a reputable brand in the flute industry, known for producing quality instruments that cater to both beginners and advanced players. Their flutes often feature solid construction and good tonal quality, making them a popular choice among musicians. However, as with any brand, it's essential to try the instrument personally to ensure it meets your specific preferences and playing style. Overall, Sterling flutes offer reliable performance for a range of players.
I think it's Greg Patillo. He can beat box while playing the flute. I'm not sure about any other flute players but this guy is amazing, so good.
Any where from $260 to $375 is a fair price.
Every flute will perform differently for each individual player. All that matters is how you sound and feel when you're playing. I did play an older Armstrong Heritage, which was apparently their top-of-the-line model several decades ago. At the time, they were handmade; presently, Armstrong's flute are all mass-produced and I feel ill qualified to comment on the newer models. But I was very happy with my Armstrong Heritage for several years, if that is any help.

It's a good brand.
Good enough... It is a well trusted brand and can provide you with the same benefits as any other brand.
It's as good as any, however the manufacturer brand is always a good choice as well.

To clean a flute, first disassemble it by taking it apart carefully. Then use a cleaning rod with a soft cloth to gently remove any moisture and debris from the inside of the flute. You can also use a cleaning brush to clean the keys and tone holes. Finally, reassemble the flute once it is completely dry.
To effectively clean and maintain your flute with the appropriate flute polish, first disassemble the flute and use a soft cloth to wipe away any dirt or residue. Apply a small amount of flute polish to another clean cloth and gently polish the flute, avoiding the keys and pads. Reassemble the flute and play a few notes to ensure it is working properly. Repeat this process regularly to keep your flute in good condition.
