The Bodyguard
The bodyguard.
Dolly Parton originally recorded it in 1974 and Whitney Houston recorded it later and sang it in the movie the bodyguard which she also starred in with Kevin Costner
Patricia Watson Garland is the REAL wicked half sister-N-law who married Whitney's half brother Gary Garland. They both changed their names to Houston for some strange reason not long before Whitney was killed. Now, Patricia Watson Garland is strangely "Pat Houston and he (Gary) is now Gary Houston. Also, I believe the movie body guard was REAL for Whitney because it turned out that Pat is that character played by this woman.....really wicked. She took all of Whitney's things and sold them immediately after Whitney passed.
No she was not. They were friends and co-stars in the movie "The Bodyguard."
Not necessarily. While they might have met at some Hollywood function, there is no evidence they were friends. Also, contrary to some reports, they did not meet as a result of Dolly's hit country song "I Will Always Love You." According to movie star Kevin Costner, he and his secretary loved that song and they were the ones who suggested it for Whitney Houston to sing in "The Bodyguard." Most reports say that the two famous singers (Dolly and Whitney) knew about each other, but it is not clear whether they ever spent any time together.

Upside
Kevin costner
No, there is no evidence that they disliked each other. In fact, Kevin was at Whitney's funeral and was very upset about her death. Some reports have said that Whitney was difficult to work with, due to her drug use and her insecurity, but at that time, Costner says he had no idea Whitney was on drugs; there is also not much proof that there were personal problems between the two stars.
They have been good friends since they were kids, they grew up going to the same church in their childhood town.
