A signed Fender Standard Series Stratocaster became the world's most expensive guitar, fetching a massive $2.8 million at auction in Doha, Qatar. Auctioned to aid victims of the 2004 tsunami disaster, the guitar broke the previous record held by Eric Clapton's $959,500.00 black strat. The most expensive ibanez bass, has a grand total of how ever much you payed for the strings, on the guitar, becasue thats all its worth!
He was most famous for the Fender Stratocaster
The Fender replica sold for $25,000 but they've been selling for $8,000 on eBay. They say if Eddie ever sold his original at auction it would sell well in excess of a million dollars, setting a new record for most expensive celebrity guitar ever sold. The Fender replica, unfortunatly, is not a very acurate replica. There are many "flaws". Certain markings, the reflectors on the back, etc, are wrong. It also doesnt have the tone it should for such an expensive guitar.
United states, a company called rickenbacker is credited with it, the first guitar ever was called a frying pan. Years later Gibson and fender would take over the industry with their innovations.
acoustic guitar. I don't think he ever played and electric guitar in his songs.

There is no "best" rock guitar but the two most famous rock guitars ever and most likely the most succsesful are the Fender Stratocaster and the Gibson Les Paul.

Probably the Stratocaster and it's many varients and copies. Go into ANY guitar store and you'll bound to see quite a few of them (and their copies). It is THE most copied guitar ever.
Im not exactly sure but i think the first electric guitar that was mass produced was in the mid 1940s, it was designed by Leo Fender who later created some of the best guitars the world ever saw.
If you are referring to the guitar he designed, it is called a Jag-Stang and it is made by Fender.
Most people hadn't even imagined a bass guita in the 1930's. One was developed by Paul Tutmark but it wasn't very popular and the bass guitar did not reach popularity until one was designed by Leo Fender in the 1950's. The bass guitar was designed to replace the double bass which, although a fantastic instrument, was extrmely impractical. They were expensive and extremely difficult to kart around, and were struggling to compete with the ever-increasing volume of the guitar. The bass guitar also allowed more freedom to perform, by allowing the user to walk around the stage and the frets made it easier to play in tune.
