Of courseit is your right to get some of your mothers posetions because she was your mother and those are the things that you remember seing and doing and using when she was aliveand it was wrong for your stepfather to nit give any of it to you, and it is equaly as wrong that after he passed on that his family hasn't given you anything.
You still have the rights to the 1/2 of the companies profits that your husband owns. It also depends on how long you have been married. He will either have to pay you 1/2 of the worth of his portion and future 401, etc if you have been married long enough and children.

OMG I hope not. That would be a total violation of women's rights. Maybe 100 years ago. Maybe in the Middle East. But in America? If any Dr. tells you this, call the National Organization for Women or the ACLU. That's just not right.
Louis McKay re-married in 1975 to Bernice Yancey. He wrote an autobiography and helped with the film "Lady Sings the Blues," a movie about Billie Holiday's life. He was a member of the NAACP, and served on various civil rights committees. in 1981 McKay died of a heart attack in New York City.
My wife was wondering about this also. She was able to contact Alan Osmond about why this movie isn't available on DVD. Apparantly, the movie isn't owned by the Osmond family (known as "The Osmond Brothers Partnership"). The partnership owns the rights to their song catalog, but as for the movie itself, WorldVision has the rights to it. Even though it's a depiction of the early Osmond family. If this movie was created or directed by any of the Osmond family, then they would own the rights to the movie. So, I guess you'll have to talk to WorldVision about that.

You have all the rights that enure to married couples since you are still married. You have all the same rights you have when you are not separated.
The spouse of an incarcerated husband has all rights over their property. This is only if the two people are legally married.
The Daughter
Well, if your married and you live separate, then you have the same rights you do as when you are married, except you are the boss of the house if he doesn't live there. If you are divorced and you live apart, then you don't have to do what your ex-husband says so you therefore have rights to do what you want, as long as what you are doing isn't illegal, but it doesn't involve your ex-husband if you are divorced.
yes
She had no rights. Her property went to her husband when she married and she couldn't own land, work, or have her own wealth. She needed to have a father, uncle, new husband,,or go live with a siblings family. If she was poor she often had to be a rag picker, prostitution, or live on the streets.

You have no spousal rights whatsoever. You are not his wife. If he lied to you about being married you can file a criminal complaint.
my ex-husband and I were married 20 years. Can I draw from his VA disability?
As long as they aren't no married legally she has no rights but to the husband that has bringing the other woman into the house might feel different on the situation.
