Dramatic clubs have long existed in High schools and these have produced such things as the(Follies, from A-z) etc. One might argue some of the actors in the Wizard Of Oz may have been underage, but midgets were also used as Munchkins. I never lilked that picture anyhow, too far out and whacked-out.

what do you mean all of a sudden? i mean it lasted three films had all that pubicity and fanbase... and even was the first Disney channel movie to have one of their films shown nation wide in the cinema so if you call that ending suddenly then yeah okay lol it did!! i think there wasnt much else you could do with a series of films highly based on the name 'high school musical' if they left the 'high school' this wouldn't make sense would it and they couldn't just suddenly change the name to college school musical now could they .. so in answer to your question it didnt end all of a sudden it had a good run but would have gotten lost if they took it beyond the 'high school' that gave it its name! :)
