Paul McCartney played drums as Ringo had walked out on the band on the Beatles recording, on Siouxsie and the Banshees the drums where played by Budgie (Peter Edward Clarke).
Ringo admired Ludwig brand drums, so he bought a set, and wanted the Ludwig logo on the front but the origianl maker of the drums said what about the band name, so he took the band name "The Beatles" and painted in Ludwig logo style with the large T on Ringo's drums. later, Ringo was given a gold-plated Ludwig drum set- which he still has but doenst use in public- he siad in a na interview on youtube

I am 12 and i know that his son played 4 the who in the 2010 super bowl whether he is in their band i am not aware of it.

Roses and flowers because they all got into a fight and Ringo said 'that is it' and he quit the band but after a short period of time he came back and found the roses on his drums.

Not always, no. Before joining what became The Beatles, Ringo was the drummer in another band called Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, which was a skiffle group out of Liverpool. At the time, Pete Best was still The Beatles' drummer. Both bands played gigs together, and at times when Best missed shows, Ringo would fill in. He was eventually asked to join the band.
In the ultimate lineup, there were only four - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. However, before Ringo Starr was employed as the drummer in 1962, Pete Best played drums for the band. The previous bassist for the group was Stuart Sutcliffe, who left the band as he was engaged to their German friend, Astrid Kirchherr.

I havn't watched that but I know he plays drums in the band Eagles of Death Metal.
