That's a matter of opinion - some like the Strat because it's more versatile, others like the Ibanez because it's a more specialized sound. If you're playing strictly lead, and shredding, you may prefer the Ibanez. But I would try them both.
The most famous brands or guitars are probably the fender stratocaster, fender telecaster, Les paul, Epiphone, Ibanez and Gibson
There are many... Ibanez, Rickenbacker, Yamaha, Gibson, Washburn, BC Rich, Steinberger, to name a few, but there are guitars made to look similar to the classic fender stratocaster like the Yamaha Pacifica, the Squire (made by Fender) and the Torch Vintage.
Fender for Hendrix Epihone for Zeppelin and ACDC Ibanez is more on the metal side of things. It really depends on what music you are looking at basically Fender for more blues and Ibanez is more of the Metal types.
Ibanez Gibson-Les Paul-Firebird-SG- Fender-Stratocaster-Telecaster- Dean-Razorback- Epliphone ESP(Electric Sound Products) Ovation-Great Acoustic/Electric guitars- Just to name a few...
Tom Morello's "Soul Power" guitar is a highly custom Factory Special Run with Ibanez Edge Floyd Rose Tremolo, a Seymour Duncan "hotrails" pick up in the bridge, with Fender noiseless pickups in the middle and neck positions. Simplified, it's a Fender Custom Stratocaster.

Guitars with wider necks and longer scales are generally better for individuals with big hands. Models like the Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, and Ibanez RG series are popular choices for players with larger hands.
Fender, Gibson, Martin, Rickenbacker, Epiphone, ibanez
The coolest guitar is subjective and varies depending on personal preferences. Some popular options include the Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, and PRS Custom 24. Each of these guitars has a unique sound, design, and history that appeals to different players.
I recommend a Stratocaster, due their wide range within genres. Preferably an American Standard. But an Ibanez will do okay, if you fiddle with the knobs abit.
Totally depends on model and type. You have a great price range between the two. Depends on what you want. Entry level is all about the same, the higher end offers a great deal more variety. Both, you will get a really good guitar.
