Should an energy saving lamps be Energy Star labeled one for better energy saving even though they are already an energy saving lamps?

• Energy efficiency can be achieved through broadly available, non-proprietary technologies offered by more than one manufacturer.
• Product energy consumption and performance can be measured and verified with testing.
• Labeling would effectively differentiate products and be visible for purchasers

Vague question. "Should" implies personal opinion. For the future of sustainability for the planet, it doesn't matter what type we use at all. In my opinion we will use what is available, and what is available is controlled by profit interests at this time. We "should" do what we have to do to survive.

How could Iceland develop further using geothermal energy?
Iceland does not need more geothermal energy, It needs better ways to distribute the energy it already has available. First, it should convert all energy sources to electrical producers and all users to electric energy users (ie; cars, buses, truck, etc). Next it need to find away to store, transport, and sell it's excess electrical energy, to boost it's local economy (that's the crux of the Iceland problem).
What should people do to dispose of garbage?
Dumping or burning is not the right way, to recycle or tranform it into energy is better way.
