3 simple moves for the beginner.
1.step turn step: basicly you step onto your right-leg,pick up the left leg and turn to face the back and put your left-leg down. then pick up your right leg and turn to face the front then put your right leg down in furst position [legs together] do this faster and faster and there you go! the step turn step. or add a clap on the end and it turns into step turn step clap.
2. step clap: basicly you stand in first positon [legs together] step out on your left leg then bring your right leg to meet it so you are back in first position. clap when your right leg meets the ground. do this slowly then get faster and faster. there you go step clap! or you could do a jump when you bring your right leg in this is called step jump clap.
3. this move is a bit harder to explain. its called the box step. first you stand in first position. step forwads on your right leg then on your left leg. keep your legs apart [second position] then step back on your right leg then on your left back into first position. this move is a bit harder to explain but i hope it makes scence!
thease moves can be used in a veriaty off diffrent types of dance. such as street,break,hip-hop,jazz,lyrical jazz,modern,contemory,Ballet ect...
