Sadly, at the time of his death there was not much money left. The British news reports were largely hyperbole. He sold most of his publishing to EMI years before for "In A Big Country" and was living off of his touring income. He died without a will. The final estates in both the US and Britain declared his estate's value at zero. The current estate of Stuart's remaining publishing is divided equally between Kirsten Adamson (Stuart's minor daughter), Callum Adamson (Stuart's minor son) and his wife Melanie Shelley.
