If your thinking along the same lines that i am, that the first three notes at the beginning of the song he plays sound familiar? After a lot of racking my brain, i figured out it sounds a lot like "my cherie amour" by Stevie wonder. You may be thinking of a completely different song, but if not, i hope it helped.

Why do the Romans like the legend of romulus and Remus?

The Romans probably like the legend about the twins because it tells the story of how Rome was founded. The legend is also quite entertaining, so that this might be a reason too. Many people also said that people liked to know if they were special and knowing that Romulus and Remus were the sons of a god but were ordinary people others felt special.
