Well, it was more than what's been said. Johnny Cash was no rock 'n roller, but was inducted into the Rock 'n roll hall of fame. Can you believe it !! Jerry Lee Lewis was played and others who did also come out of rock 'n roll.

The real reason CONWAY was snubbed by the CMA is because he didn't bend to the Pop Sound and the control of the industry. He stood up to the "powers that be" and did his quality music for his fans. So, they black-balled his name and awards or tried to. But his talents were far greater than the big shots behind the doors. It's still not too late for the CMA to start a new award. The "greatest country artists of the century". Name Conway as the first and begin to clean up the big mistakes of the past. Apologize to Conway's fans and family. Simple. Then, release box sets of his many country LP's. And, release his many songs in the vaults yet to be released. It's simple!
