Donnie Van Zant is a member of 38 Special.
Jimmie formed his own group, signed with a record label and recorded his first album. "Southern Comfort" included the single "Ronnie's Song" co-written by Jimmie as a tribute to his beloved cousin. He still plays this number as requested at his live shows. In 2008, Jimmie released a second album "My Name is Jimmie," which included the hits "Ray Ray's Juke Joint" and "Redneck Revolution.
"Cut from the Same Cloth," Jimmie's upcoming album featuring collaboration with James Dean Hicks, Charlie Craig and Tommy Southern, has already yielded popular singles in the UK.
In 2011 Jimmie and the band appeared in the made-for-television documentary Boots 'N' BBQ Presents: Grills Gone Wild - from the Back Yard to Back Stage. The film, now available on DVD, is awaiting its network air date. Also in the works is a national television show, currently in development with Jimmie's management team and production company Chappell Films and Entertainment.
I don't know if anything has changed, but it used to be Donnie Van Zant was lead singer and Don Barnes was one of the guitarists. Donnie is the younger brother of the deceased Ronnie Van Zant and older brother of Johnny Van Zant (dont know how he spells Johnny), the original and current vocalists for Lynyrd Skynyrd, respectively.
Roughly 1930s. You may have a caliber .38 S&W, which is NOT a .38 Special.
1984
A .38 special.
One may find the complete lyrics to the song "Caught Up In You" by the band "38 Special" on Metro Lyrics. The lyrics may also be found on the site "AZ Lyrics".
Donnie Van Zant (formerly of .38 Special) and Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd

I've read on a few different wikipedia-like pages that besides brothers Donnie of .38 Special and Johnny who took over as Skynyrd frontman in 1987 that Ronnie also had 3 sisters. I've never seen their names written anywhere officially, but the statement about his also having 3 sisters is on a few different links about Ronnie.
38 special
The .38 Special can fire .38 Special, or .38 Long Colt. It cannot fire the .38 S&W, which is fatter and shorter.
38 special
It depends on what you mean. A .38 revolver may be a .38 special, but there are other types of .38 besides just the special round.
.38 Special, .38 Long Colt, .38 Short Colt. .38 S&W CANNOT be used in a .38 Special. .38 Special can be fired from a .357 Magnum weapon, but .357 Magnum cannot be fired from a .38 Special weapon.
Depends which type of .38 you're referring to. When most people say ".38", they're referring to the .38 Special. Firearms chambered in .38 Special can fire .38 Special cartridges, and nothing else. The .38 Special can also be fired from a .357 Magnum revolver (but only from revolvers - not from anything with a headspaced chamber). The .38 Special is not compatible with the .38 S&W Long, .38 Super, or any other type of .38 caliber cartridge.
no the 38 bullet is fatter and and the special is smaller
No, the rimless .38 Super is not compatible with the rimmed .38 Special.
