The original The Lion King (as in the VHS release) has the original Morning Report scene, but the DVD release (10th year anniversary / 2 Disc Special Edition) has an extented Morning Report scene. It's actually not just extented but almost completely changed in character actions. The Special Edition DVD includes also the VHS version of the film so if you like the original Morning Report scene better, you can watch that version in DVD quality.
