AnswerI know a lot of bands that were around in the 1980s, but I cannot recall one by those names.

There was, however, a very successful pop band called The Cars, let by Ric Ocasek.

They did a lot on MTV, especially the hit song "Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight?" -- but Ocasek was such a perfectionist that the other band members started to resent it, and they eventually broke up. Ocasek couldn't quite make it on his own, though.

There was also a band who came through in the late 80s called Skid Row.
