I remember 'and, if you have been, thank you for listening.' as the tag line of a radio programme, radio 4 I think. It was a man who used to say it, and I have been wracking my brains, but cannot remember who. It is just one of those warm cosy phrases from radio past.

I've noticed that many attribute the writing of this song to the late Rev Paul Jones, but he was not the author of the song "I Won't Complain". Rather, this great gospel song was actually written in 1974 by the late Rev. Don Johnson from Nashville, Tennesse, an ALJC pastor. The correct title to the song is actually "I Can't Complain", but has been changed over time. Very few words have been changed to the Rev. Johnson's song for the version, " I Won't Complain". Please go to You Tube to view Rev. Don Johnson himself singing this beautiful original song, "I Can't Complain"
