Were does the sky end

That depends on the definition of sky. Is it the air above you? Then it is quite close. Three quarters of the air is within 11 km of the surface but space craft notice the beginning of atmosphere as far out as 120 km. Somebody has to make a decision on where the Earth's atmosphere finishes and space begins - they did. The Karman line at 100 km is the "official" beginning of space. Where would you have difficulty breathing? At around two kilometres or more.

The atmosphere of Earth ends directly on the horizon, the border between our planet and outer space. The sky in general theoretically never ends since our universe goes out forever.

Well, "sky" is an undefined term. Sky just refers to anything in outer space or in our atmosphere that we can see. Outer space "officially" starts at the Kármán line. It's located 100km from average sea level. However, there isn't any one point where space starts and our atmosphere ends. It all just fades together, like a gradient.

The official boundary that international agreements established is 100 kilometers or 62 Miles above sea level. That's arbitrary, though. At that point you are in spaces, pretty much. But there are traces of atmosphere out for several hundred miles.

The hight of the sky is so so small. Air is the sky. The place where sky starts is above the ground but very close to it. So close it would look like it is touching the floor!
