I don't believe there was one. Chris Cornell, from Soundgarden and Audioslave fame was in a band called Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder sang on the track Hunger Strike. Eddie has also collaborated with the likes of Cornell on other tracks as well as Layne from Alice in Chains. As for a STP and Pearl Jam thing, I am not to sure.
