Purple Flash - We Can Make It
Killing Joke. Song was called "Eighties"
The first disco hit was "Rock the Boat" by The Hues Corporation, closely followed by "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae, both in 1974. Both songs hit #1 on the Billboard charts and really got the Disco craze going. Interestingly, Rock Your Baby was written by Howard Casey, who went on to become KC of KC and the Sunshine Band, who had several No. 1 hits and whose sound became synonomous with Disco. Hope this helps.

sorry, but it is not true. the guy was Pil bailey from earth ,wind and fire. and the song was "easy lover" Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey did the song " Easy Lover ", with a really cute video with it, by the way. Eddie Murphy DID release a song of his own called " Party All The Time ".
The name of the song is History, sang by Mai Tai. Sounds like an 80s song but it was actually made in 92.
