The question is if you know the difference between deathcore and metalcore. To give you an idea, Bullet For My Valentine is Metalcore... and their best songs are "Tears don't fall", "Alone" and "Hearts burst into fire". The other style, deathcore, is much more aggressive and has bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Suicide silence... BMTH is the most famous, but I'll give you a good song from both. BMTH - "Diamonds aren't forever" and Suicide silence - No time to Bleed. There, hope that settles your dilemma. :)
UPDATE: there are only 2 types of Heavy Metal Hardcore and Pussycore Hardcore is bands like Slayer, Lamb of God, Exsanguination,Hatebreed etc.
Pussycore is everything else metal.
